Goods are not supplied on a trial basis; returns are subject to a restocking fee
of 40% of the goods total value.
All prices quoted are correct at time of website upload; we reserve the right to
change prices without prior notice, due to price increases from manufacturers.
Unless we are specifically asked about requirements or compatibility, we shall
assume the customer is aware of what these are.
We will always try to let you know if an item is out of stock at the time when
you place your order. If however, you order new release items, we shall hold
orders until all items are in stock unless you agree to pay additional shipping
charges. Items are not always held in stock but delivery can be made direct from
manufacturers.
Delivery is UK mainland including Isle of Wight only: Scotland, Ireland, Isle of
Man and the Channel Islands are subject to further carriage charges please call
us to use this service, before placing your order.
Credit/debit cards are accepted via Pay-pal however we reserve the right for
delivery only to the card holders billing address or any other address
acceptable to the card issuer. A surcharge for this service however will apply
on card payments via Pay-pal.
Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of order in order to secure
the goods.
Personal or business cheques are welcome but will need to be cleared before the
goods are shipped. This takes up to 7 working days from when we receive the
cheque. Bankers and building society drafts are acceptable as well as postal
orders. These will be cleared immediately. You may also transfer funds (or pay
by cash) directly into our bank account, in which case goods will be shipped as
soon as funds have cleared. Please call and speak to us to obtain details and
procedures.
Personal or business cheques may be express cleared for a fee of £15.00
No property or title of the goods shall pass from Ultimate Sound & Light to the
customer until payment has been received in full. The customer is responsible
for the goods from the time of delivery and liability to insure the goods then
rests with the customer.
All products (inc. Special offers, upgrades, promotions) are subject to
availability.
All products are covered by manufacturer’s warranty, unless otherwise stated.
All shipments in transit from Ultimate Sound & Light are covered by courier’s
insurance.
The Customer’s signature will be required at the time of receipt and goods
cannot be left without such signature.
Claims for non delivery, missing items or damage to goods in transit must be
made aware as soon as possible.
‘Dead on arrival’: Goods found to be faulty from new can be returned for
replacement or refund. The customer must notify Ultimate Sound & Light as soon
as possible.
The Faulty goods will then be collected and sent back to manufacturer by
Ultimate Sound & Light. A returns number must be obtained and in all original
packaging must be present. Items returned as faulty will be tested;
If however these items are returned to us with no fault found, they will be
returned back to you the customer and subsequent charges for testing and any
other or all costs will be passed to you the customer. These charges must be
paid before goods are released.
Failed deliveries due to customer (i.e. customer not present or refused goods)
which are returned to Ultimate Sound & Light are subject to £15.00 surcharge for
return. If the same goods are requested to be re-delivered, a minimum of £5.00
re-delivery charge will apply.
Acceptable orders which have been placed and cleared will be despatched within
24 hours where possible for one manufacturer, orders from more than one
manufacturer will be sent when all items are available.
Deliveries can be expected in mainland UK within 48 hours of cleared funds,
subject to stock availability. Ultimate Sound & Light will not be held
responsible for delays beyond our control (i.e. courier delays, weather
conditions). If an order has not cleared Ultimate Sound & Light will make
contact with the customer to inform them of any delays, where possible.
All illustrations and product descriptions featured in our advertisements, web
site or brochures are correct at time of going to press or web pages going
‘live’.
Any changes to the products will be mentioned on the website or at anytime of
ordering by mail, if prices change and have not been updated the customer will
be offered the chance to cancel his/her order with Ultimate Sound & Light.
The following terms apply to mail order consumers
The consumer shall, subject to the terms set out in this clause, have the right
to cancel a contract within 7 working days from the day after the date of
delivery of the goods by the company to the consumer provided that he/she gives
written notice of such cancellation.
A) If a consumer exercises his/her right to cancel a contract, Ultimate Sound &
Light shall, reimburse any payment made by the consumer within 30 days from the
day on which he/she gave such notice of cancellation, provided that the consumer
shall not be entitled to a prepayment in the event that:
A1) He/she does not take reasonable care of the goods either prior to
cancellation of the contract or, following cancellation, while the goods remain
in the possession of the consumer. For the purposes of this sub-clause A1, a
consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the goods if such
goods are not kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals
and cables and the internal or external packaging is defaced or damaged in any
way; or
A2) the goods are marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they are
sold.
The consumer is responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted items, or
will be responsible for the direct cost of collection of such items.
